Relocation experience – With multiple years of experience with the relocation process, Debbie understands the needs of transferees.  She has acted as a buyer's agent for relocation buyers from firms such as J.C. Penney, Cadbury Schwepps, Price Waterhouse, and State Farm Insurance.  The fast pace of finding a home in days is nothing new to Debbie.  She has shown as many as 25 homes in one day to a relocation buyer!  It was Mother’s Day and they bought their dream home on that day.

Luxury Home Specialist – Debbie has vast experience in this area.  She understands the amenities which buyers expect in a luxury home.  Her knowledge of floor plans has influenced the way buyers purchase or build subsequent homes.  Recognizing quality and great floor plans are the keys to purchasing the right home and maximizing its resale.

New Developments – Debbie enjoys assisting buyers with new development.  She personally enjoys the amenities and open floor plans which new construction offers her buyers.  Having a buyer agent is important when dealing with new construction.  Many developers and builders have their own contracts which are usually weighted in their favor.  Debbie has assisted her buyers negotiate these contracts as well as upgrades in their homes.  Her buyers appreciate her recommendations for selecting color schemes, carpet, and tile selections which will appeal to the majority of buyers when it comes to resale. Skilled Negotiator – Through many successful years of working in real estate, Debbie has learned that communication is the key.  Conveying buyer/seller wishes in a timely manner is critical in executing a contract.  Contract negotiations take precedent over Debbie’s other daily activities.  Debbie understands that negotiations require extra steps to insure the best price and contract terms for both parties.

  • NYC Green Buildings - In New York City, the demand for high performance residences and work places or green buildings is on the rise.   Many popular developments in Manhattan are green buildings which are LEED certified.  Among some of the features of these buildings are advanced air and water filtration systems, use of low or non-pollutant emitting construction materials, solar energy, and green roofs (which literally have vegetation growing on them).
  • What does LEED Certified mean?  LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a Green Building Rating System for the standard in design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings.  Just because a building is green does not mean is LEED certified!  For more information visit www.USGBC.org.

CT Commuters – Many New Yorkers commute to Connecticut daily.  As a property owner in Fairfield County, she is familiar with the area and can assist those buyers who work in New York City and live in southern Connecticut.  Debbie’s knowledge of the Metro North Railroad, parking permit waiting lists, and other commuting issues will assist these buyers.
